The completed first phase project including Sulfur coated Urea fertilizer plant with capacity of 50,000mt/year, Compound fertilizer plant with capacity of 100,000mt/year and Bulk Blend fertilizer plant with capacity of 300,000mt/year. The company via three parties cooperation complements each other's strength, promote the use of slow release fertilizer and compound fertilizer in Indonesia and South East Asia, and contribute to fertilizer upgrade and agricultural development in this region.PT. Indo Pupuk Sejahtera (a subsidiary of Group Sejahtera) is a company that distributes fertilizer, pesticide, irrigation, tractor and other agricultural products in Indonesia and Malaysia. It has strong marketing team and extensive distribution network. * Hanfeng Slow-Release Fertilizer Investment Co., Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. (a listed company in Canada). Hanfeng has the advance technologies for slow release fertilizer and compound fertilizer. Currently, it has a few fertilizer factories in China with total production capacities of 725,000mt/year. * PT. Kurnia Sentosa Kahuripan (a subsidiary of Makin Group) is an oil palm plantation company and currently is growing more than 100,000ha of oil palm crop in Indonesia.Strategically located in Gresik near Surabaya, PT HSK has production plants producing coated urea, coated NPK compound, coated NPK blend and compound fertilizer.The controlled release fertilizers can improve fertilizer effectiveness and efficiency, while reducing environment damage as compared to conventional fertilizers. Indonesia local fertilizers producers are consist of government controlled producers and a handful of private producers. There is no local production of controlled release fertilizer and has limited high quality NPK compound fertilizers. The imported slow release fertilizers are too expensive to penetrate significantly into Indonesia market.The demand for slow release fertilizers in Indonesia is growing due to the modernization of the agricultural industry and growing environmental concerns.
